Nashville, Tenn. -- WIN franchisees from across the country were recently honored for their accomplishments and hard work in 2017 at the network's business conference. Three franchisees in particular were honored for their generosity.

One of the most coveted awards, The Founders Award, was given to James Price, WIN Home Inspection Great Hills, Texas for his efforts to help those victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The evaluating criteria for this award includes:

  • A strong sales trend since being in business
  • A Strategic-Partner who is in good standing and compliant
  • Significant community outreach

"The Founders Award is uniquely special,'' said Co-Founder Dianne Knapp. "It is given to our Strategic-Partners who go above and beyond in their communities or provide Humanitarian service to fellow human beings where we live and work. We are proud of James for his efforts.''

Price, a veteran, said he was able to use the skills he learned in the Army National Guard to help his Texas neighbors.

Another top award was granted to two deserving franchisees from either sides of the country - Tom Unverzagt and Jon Gross. This award goes to deserving Strategic-Partners who exemplify the WIN spirit.

The evaluating criteria for the Brand Builder Award includes:

  • A strong sales trend since being in business
  • A S-P in good standing and compliance

Unverzagt and Gross were named this year's Brand Builders for their efforts to help their fellow Strategic-Partners during a recent software roll out. At WIN, franchisees exclusively own their Designated Marketing Areas (DMAs), which means they work together to help grow the entire network as opposed to in competition with each to other. Unverzagt owns six DMAs in Long Island, New York and Gross owns two DMAs in greater-Sacramento.

"These Strategic-Partners are from opposite sides of the country and are truly committed to helping their fellow S-Ps thrive,'' said President Steve Wadlington. "They were both honored for their commitment to helping other franchisees learn our software as well as working with Home Office to improve the system.''

This year marks the WIN franchise network's 25th year in business. Go to www.winfranchising.com to learn more about becoming a WIN franchisee.
